Thanks for taking the What Yoga is Best for Me Quiz! Yoga Nidra is for you today!
You are either in the middle of a flare, would like to learn my secret tool for getting some rest despite being unable to nap, or would just like to experience some complete relaxation.
I’ve got you covered with yoga nidra!
Yoga Nidra, as I said above, is my secret sauce. It is how I function in the afternoon. I take a 30-45 minute yoga nidra break in the afternoon. It is restful, rejuvenating and calms the central nervous system. It is the best way for me to experience profound rest.
If you want to learn more about yoga, the central nervous system and fibromyalgia – check out this blog post.
Here is a class for you to try – get yourself comfortable. You can do this on your bed with your heating pad! You can do it first thing in the morning, as a rest in the day, after work, prior to sleep and in the middle of the night (painsomnia anyone?).
Give the class a go come and then come join the Yoga for Fibromyalgia with Melissa Facebook group to tell us how it went.
If you want unlimited access to yoga made for people with fibromyalgia including mindful movement classes, restorative yoga, breathing tutorials, strengthening classes, bed yoga and chair yoga classes and more – then come and join Yoga for the Chronic Life studio.
I hope you loved this, if you want to take the quiz again tomorrow and try a different answer, go ahead!
