Your Ultimate List of Valentines Day Ideas

Mindfulness coloring book

This is a simple Mindfulness Anti-Stress Art Therapy Book and this is a cheeky, swearing one you might find amusing.

Gratitude journal

This five minute gratitude journal is great for busy people. For a more in depth practice, this is a day and night reflection journal.

Guided journal

This guided journal is for helping to manage stress and anxiety. This is a 365 day journey for self-exploration.

Nutri bullet – for nutritious smoothies

If one of your 2021 healthy self-care habits is to eat more healthily, this will help. I use my Nutribullet for smoothies, super quick cashew cheese sauces and it’s useful for baby food when your baby is at the puree stage. Having owned two Nutribullets (and used them well) I recommend the higher wattage options like this 1200 watt one.

Drawing set

Maybe a goal on your list for this year is to let yourself start a new hobby or pick up an old one. This sketching set may help. Or this colouring pencil set.

Face mask

Heading back to basics, perhaps a face mask will simultaneously make you feel pampered and give you a reason to take 10 minutes to yourself. I like this Clinique Moisture Surge overnight mask for those busy days (you simply apply it after washing your face and wear it to bed). Or this Nano Steamer Set may be more luxurious for V day.

Audible gift membership

Are you an audio book listener? Perhaps a gift membership to Audible might be the thing.

Kindle Unlimited membership

If you prefer your Kindle then a Kindle Unlimited Gift Membership could be the best idea for you. I read about 80 books per year so unlimited is key for me.

Yoga membership

While we are talking about memberships – my other passion is creating yoga for people with chronic pain, fatigue, fibromyalgia. Simple, accessible yoga. No becoming a pretzel, no long classes. You can grab an annual option which gives two months free, there are also monthly options. You can check out Yoga for the Chronic Life here.

Hair conditioning treatment

This is a lovely, inexpensive idea that you can use over and over – for just 5-15 minutes, so you can use it inside your usual shower time. It’s paraben and sulfate free.

Decadent beverages

My favourite part of my Nespresso machine is the milk frother. It turns an at home coffee into a cafe experience. This made a difference for me when I was at home with my first son, I had been used to getting a cafe coffee every morning before work. Now my son loves the milk frother for fancy hot chocolates too.

A Nespresso is a nice idea if your person is looking to really spoil you.

I follow a writer called Jen Hatmaker and her kids got her a really cute, retro looking coffee machine for Christmas that I am now obsessed with. This is very similar to it.

Fitbit

If one of your healthy habits is to move more (or sleep better, I love to track my sleep with mine) then a Fitbit or other activity tracker may be for you. There is a real variety available, depending on what you need and what your budget is.

Give yourself the gift of 10 minutes a day – self care challenge free!

Join the free self-care challenge and get four yoga practices that you can do in just 10 minutes a day to reclaim your self-care. This is more like your gift to yourself but it’s worth mentioning.

Puzzle books

This one is a compilation of brain games to keep your brain healthy and active. This one is a 10 booklet set with the different types of crosswords and word finds etc. they will keep you going for a while.

Magazine or box subscription

A gift that keeps on giving throughout the year is a magazine or subscription box. There are so many options. This one is a self-care box. An adult art and craft box. There is even a date box, perfect for sharing a Valentines Day gift. I ordered my husband a special Valentines Day date box and I am looking forward to it arriving.

So this is over 15 categories (over 30 ideas), some with several ideas. I am sure you can create a fabulous self-care themed Valentines Day (or Anniversary, or birthday) wish list.
