Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain-based illness of unknown origin and cure. It effects approximately 3-6% of the world’s population. Affecting far more women than men, but there are men who suffer with it too.
Diagnosis often takes years and multiple doctors.
The symptoms are broad but the key symptoms are widespread pain, fatigue, trouble sleeping and cognitive dysfunction (brain fog). There are many more that tend to come along too. As well as many comorbid disorders (disorders to that often tag along with fibromyalgia).
