My Mama Has Fibromyalgia is told from the point of view of a child named Noah. It explains key terms including fibromyalgia, chronic illness, flare up, chronic fatigue and more.

The main message in the story is that no matter what mama experiences, she always loves her children and has time for that. Sometimes what they do together will look different, modifying ways to support mama to join in.

You can get a square 8.5×8.5 in softcover from Amazon here this one is formatted slightly different than the above, there is text on one page and an image on the other.

When I had completed my first draft, I read it through with my 9 and 6 year old children to get their feedback. They helped to shape the illustrations too! So it’s child approved!
